Gotham Knights - City Life Vehicles

In Gotham Knights Version of Gotham City we wanted the vehicles to have a very grounded and realistic feel. The vehicles are mostly setup as environmental props and light civilian night time traffic through the city. My first mandate on Gotham Knights was to establish the look, pipeline, and visual benchmarks needed to create as many vehicles as possible. I worked closely with our directors, Tech Art, Tech Anim and Level Artists to bring a good sense of scale, variety through cosmetic parts, realism and appeal to the vehicles. Later in the production, vehicles ownership was transferred to a different team and they were much improved on and optimized while keeping the foundation of the work I did for all future vehicles made for the game's rich city.
